The Duncairn Launches 2025 Young Artist Open Call

The Duncairn, one of Belfast’s leading multidisciplinary arts venues and a key contributor to our UNESCO City of Music ecosystem, has opened its annual Young Artist Open Call for 2025.
This initiative is aimed at supporting emerging creatives aged 16-25 across music, writing, performance, visual art, photography, digital practice and more. The programme offers young artists the chance to develop new work and connect with peers, as well as benefit from the Duncairn’s established role within the city’s creative infrastructure.
As a space that regularly platforms early-career musicians and nurtures new voices, the Duncairn plays an important role in Belfast’s wider talent pipeline. Its commitment to emerging artists is strengthened through ongoing partnerships and support from Belfast City Council and sector initiatives including the Music Venue Trust grant, the Gradam Ceoil bursary and work with the Irish Traditional Music Collective.
Deadline for applications is Friday 19th December at 12pm, with shortlisting to follow in January.
