Output Belfast has once again confirmed its reputation as a cornerstone of the NI music calendar. The free conference and showcase festival returned to the Cathedral Quarter for one of its most successful outings to date, drawing large crowds of industry professionals, artists and audiences.

Across the day, talks and panels explored pressing issues for the music sector, while evening showcases filled venues throughout the Cathedral Quarter with performances from emerging and established acts. A standout moment came during the Lyndon Stephens Closing Keynote, when David Arnold – in conversation with Hannah Peel – offered unique insight into composing for Bond, working with Björk and more.

With strong attendance and packed sessions – not to mention another top-tier evening showcase – this year’s Output underlined its importance to the local and wider industry.
