One of NI’s leading independent promoters, Moving On Music, has announced that it is seeking a new Music Touring Officer for a fixed-term contract beginning late November/early December 2025. The role is being offered as maternity cover and will run until 31st October 2026.

Since its foundation in 1995, Moving On Music has become a vital force in Belfast and NI’s cultural landscape. As a not-for-profit organisation and registered charity, it has championed jazz, folk, roots, traditional, classical and contemporary sounds, programming everything from clustered weekends of live performance to its acclaimed annual jazz festival, Brilliant Corners. Alongside presenting international talent, the organisation has consistently provided a platform for homegrown artists, investing in outreach, education and development opportunities for musicians across the region.

The Touring Officer will oversee approximately six tours each year, while also supporting the team with administrative tasks connected to Moving On Music’s extensive concert programme. The post offers a part-time position (22.5 hours per week) at a pro-rata salary of £24,570 per annum.
