The line-up for this year’s Brilliant Corners has been announced, and it’s set to be a must-attend event for any jazz enthusiast. Over the course of eight days, the island’s premier annual jazz festival will take over The Black Box and other venues across Belfast, a UNESCO City of Music, from 28th February to 8th March.

Now in its 13th edition, Brilliant Corners continues to deliver a unique mix of first-time visits, brand-new projects, album launches and outstanding musicianship. Curated by one of NI’s most reliable and forward-thinking promoters, Moving on Music, the festival brings together a carefully curated selection of artists from around the world, as well as some of the finest talent from NI.

Attendees can choose to pay for individual concerts or take advantage of the festival’s Full-Festival Ticket, which offers access to all 11 gigs for just £45 (a limited number of tickets are available).

Some of the standout performances include Neil Burns & Ensemble’s Golden Sunsets LP launch, the Ulster Youth Jazz Orchestra, Sultan Stevenson Trio, Kwame Daniels & Kaidi Tatham, and Orion Courtney-Lee. These are just a few of the must-see NI acts, with more local talent to discover.

This year’s festival will also feature exciting performances from international acts, including a tribute to Alice Coltrane by Alina Bzhezhinska HipHarpCollective, Zoh Amba Trio with Chris Corsano & Nick Dunston, Ruth Goller & Sebastian Rochford, Niels Broos & Jamie Peet, and many more.
