Jordan Adetunji has long been a standout in Belfast’s music scene, now gaining well-deserved international acclaim with his recent Grammy nomination. Hailing from Belfast, UNESCO’s City of Music, Jordan has been shortlisted for Best Melodic Rap Performance at the 67th Grammy Awards. This is a huge honour, placing him alongside global icons like Beyoncé and The Weeknd for his hit single ‘Kehlani,’ which has amassed over 300 million streams worldwide.

A true testament to perseverance, vision, and raw talent, Jordan has shown where dedication can lead. Reacting to the Grammy news, he shared on Instagram, “This is for anyone that believes they aren’t good enough or can’t. YOU CAN. No matter where you’re from. Did this from my bedroom in Belfast with a 100 pound interface. And my mum always supporting me even when I would record late as ever.”

Born in Croydon, London, and moving to Belfast at age 10, Jordan started his career by posting rap videos on Facebook before expanding his sound with elements including guitar. His music went viral on TikTok, kickstarting an incredible trajectory that saw him release his debut mixtape, Rock ‘n’ Rave, in 2023. Since then, he has signed with 300 Entertainment and Warner Music, and ‘Kehlani’ reaching #24 on the Billboard Top 100 and #8 on the UK Charts.

The 67th Grammy Awards will be held in Los Angeles on 2nd February 2025. We’re incredibly proud of Jordan and wish him all the best on this international stage. Here’s to more success ahead!
