Launched in 2018 Jika Jika Festival quickly built a reputation as one of Northern Ireland’s best electronic music events. By offering an intimate city festival, working with some of the most exciting names in the scene, they attract a wide ranging following from both local and international visitors. This year for August Bank Holiday weekend they will be returning to a new location in their spiritual home of Derry with a special one day Drumcode event on Saturday 28th of August.

Drumcode needs no introduction, the Swedish techno label helmed by Adam Beyer has grown to become one of the most instantly recognisable, with legions of loyal followers spread across the globe. Jika Jika have partnered with them for previous editions giving their followers a taste for the label’s high octane, energetic vibe.

This year sees a very special line up taking to the stage, the biggest Drumcode have ever delivered in Ireland. With label boss Adam Beyer headlining and joined by the legendary Joseph Capriati. A rarity for such a limited capacity event. Alongside is Rebūke, his mix of techno and rave has won plaudits across the electronic music spectrum. Rounding out the line up is fast rising Irish selector Yasmin Gardezi who’s built a name for herself with a broad selection of new and old music, gaining notoriety as part of the MOTZ Berlin crew. All the artists are known to keep the dance floor jumping throughout.
