University of Atypical: Creative Networking Event for d/Deaf, Disabled and Neurodivergent Music Creators

6:00pm – 8:30pm, Tuesday 25th Mar 2025

The next Creative Networking Event from University of Atypical is dedicated to music, bringing together d/Deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent music creators in Northern Ireland. Whether you’re looking to build connections, share skills, or gain insights from key figures in the local music industry, this event offers a space to do just that.

Taking place at Ledger Studio in Belfast, the evening will feature a panel discussion with Charlene Hegarty (Musicians Union), Peter Fleming (NKP/White Mountain Music), Nikki MacRae (Belfast City Council), Dee McAdams (Oh Yeah Centre), and a representative from the Black Box. There will also be time for Q&A, open discussions, and informal networking over refreshments.

British and Irish Sign Language interpretation and Audio Description will be available, and the venue has step-free access throughout.

The event happens on Tuesday 25 March from 6:00 to 8:30 pm at Ledger Studio, 109-113 Royal Avenue, Belfast. Spaces are limited, with priority given to d/Deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent artists.
