Pathways Into Music: Free Music Educators’ Weekend
9:00am, Saturday 25th – 11:00am, Sunday 26th Jan 2025
After the success of their educator weekend in Derby, Pathways Into Music, supported by Belfast UNESCO City of Music, is hosting a two-day development event for music educators in Belfast on 25-26 January 2025.
This free event, tailored for music teachers, FE/HE educators, talent development organisations, and community music groups, offers key insights into career pathways and trends within the music industry. Participants will gain valuable knowledge and resources to help guide students aspiring to enter the music business, with sessions covering everything from music rights and industry structure to fanbase building and DIY artist strategies.
The weekend will take place at the Clayton Hotel, Belfast, and will be complemented by three webinars on 15, 22, and 29 January 2025. Attendees can expect a blend of lectures, discussions, and Q&A sessions, all led by industry experts. Networking opportunities will allow educators to exchange ideas and experiences, while travel and accommodation bursaries are available for those travelling from outside Belfast.
Applications are open now via the Pathways Into Music website, with a focus on attracting a diverse mix of educators and professionals across Northern Ireland.
