How To Get The Most Out of Your MU Membership

New to the Musicians’ Union? Or just want to better understand what your membership offers?
On Tuesday 8 April, MU members in NI are invited to join an online session on how to get the most out of your membership. Running from 5.30 to 6.30pm, this one-hour session is a great opportunity to meet your local team, find out what support is available to you, and connect with other musicians across NI.
Led by the MU’s first-ever permanent officer for NI, Charlene Hegarty, the session will cover everything from contract advice and insurance to legal support, collective bargaining and how you can shape the Union’s future work.
It’s also a chance to hear about current campaigns, post-Brexit challenges, streaming rights, and other key issues the MU is lobbying on, with time to ask questions and share your thoughts.
Whether you’ve just joined or have been a member for a while, you’re very welcome.
