Music Support Ripple Effect: Family and Friends Workshop
10:00am – 2:00pm, Friday 18th Jul 2025

Music Support, the UK charity dedicated to helping those in the music industry experiencing mental health and addiction challenges, is offering a free online workshop for people supporting someone in crisis.
The Ripple Effect is a four-hour interactive session designed for friends, family and colleagues of those working in music who are struggling with addiction. Delivered over Zoom, the next workshop takes place on Friday 18th July from 10am-2pm.
Whether you’re a touring bandmate, close friend or loved one, the workshop offers guidance on understanding addiction, setting healthy boundaries and practising self-care. It’s a space to explore how to support someone effectively while protecting your own wellbeing. No industry experience is required, just a connection to someone who works in the UK music industry.
Thanks to funding from The Christopher Meredith Foundation, The Ripple Effect is free to attend, but spaces are limited.
