Music Support Presents The Ripple Effect
9:00am, Friday 16th May 2025

Music Support have a few remaining spaces for their next Ripple Effect workshop, a free, four-hour online session on Friday 16 May, created for anyone supporting a friend, colleague or loved one in the UK music industry who’s struggling with addiction. You don’t need to work in the industry yourself – hust be someone who cares about someone who does.
Delivered via Zoom in a small-group setting, the workshop offers a grounded introduction to addiction, recovery, boundaries and self-care, helping attendees navigate what can often be a draining and isolating experience. The aim is simple: to empower you with the tools to support others while taking care of yourself. From co-dependency to the impact of family dynamics, the session covers difficult realities with clarity, warmth and compassion.
The workshop is hosted by Music Support, the UK charity dedicated to helping music industry professionals experiencing mental health and addiction challenges. Thanks to funding from the Christopher Meredith Foundation, these places are completely free.
