MU education conference

About the event

The conference will comprise two full days of CPD sessions and seminars, plus a social evening on the Friday. We are currently finalising the programme and will announce details shortly.

Tickets will be £40-£150, with member discounted tickets available.

Members who teach can join the MU Education Section. Members in the MU Education Section receive dedicated news updates and are eligible to stand for the MU’s Education Section Committee, which helps shape the MU’s aims and initiatives in this area.

Accommodation

The MU has arranged a discounted hotel offer for delegates who wish to stay over on one or more nights. The offer is for the Copthorne Hotel which is a two-minute walk from the conference venue.

Single occupancy rooms are offered for £70 and double occupancy (including twin) for £80, bed and breakfast included. As an added incentive, the first 30 MU members to book hotel rooms will receive a further 50 percent discount (single £35 and double £40) subsidised by the MU

Cancellation

In the unlikely event that the conference cannot go ahead due to coronavirus restrictions, delegate tickets and hotel rooms will be fully refunded.

Access

Members who are unable to afford tickets due to financial hardship can contact us confidentially at education@theMU.org.

The MU makes every effort to ensure that all events we organise are accessible to everyone who would like to attend. We want to provide equal access to our events for all our members.
