Minding Creative Minds: Creative Careers Summit 2025

9:00am, Tuesday 20th – 11:00am, Tuesday 20th May 2025, 9:00am

The third edition of Minding Creative Minds’ Creative Careers Summit, Creativity at the Crossroads, lands in Dublin on 20 May, bringing together artists, arts workers and industry professionals from across Ireland’s diverse creative landscape. Taking place at the Radisson on Golden Lane, the event is pitched as a day of insight, inspiration and honest conversations about the realities of working in the sector today.

While the tone is ambitious, this isn’t just another arts conference. The summit offers a space for over 300 creatives from across more than thirty disciplines – including music, theatre, visual art, live events and film – to gather, connect and explore how creativity can be both meaningful and sustainable in an increasingly fast-moving and complex industry.

Expect wide-ranging sessions on themes including collaboration, creative ownership, ethical work practices, navigating change and funding your next project. There’ll be networking over breakfast and lunch, plenty of chances to meet like-minded peers, and a focus on the lived experience of creative work across the island of Ireland. For musicians and music-adjacent professionals it’s a chance to hear from others in similar positions, learn about new opportunities and maybe rethink how you approach your own creative life.

The summit doesn’t shy away from harder topics either: fair pay, sustainability, and the shifting nature of authorship will all be up for discussion, alongside more celebratory panels highlighting stories of resilience and creative success.

It’s open to everyone involved in the creative sector – from freelancers and emerging artists to producers, arts managers and seasoned professionals. If you’re building a career in music, events or the broader creative industries, this could be a day well spent.
