Making Music: Climate Change Network Online Event

Making Music invites musicians and music groups to a free online event exploring how the music community can contribute to tackling climate change. The session will highlight success stories from member groups adopting sustainable practices, alongside actionable insights from Making Music’s Green Team experts, Benoit André and Harriet Laidler.
Topics will include repertoire choices, lobbying and advocacy, travel, and reducing the digital carbon footprint within the cultural sector. Attendees will also learn about the innovative Digital Sustainability Card Game and hear updates on the Making Music Green Award.
This is a chance to share ideas, discover resources, and connect with others working towards sustainability in the arts. Open to all, the event will feature opportunities to ask questions via the chat function.

The event is free, and both members and non-members are welcome. Zoom links will be emailed two days and two hours before the event.
