Ivors Academy: Winter Wellbeing for Songwriters and Composers
2:00pm – 3:00pm, Tuesday 11th Feb 2025

The Ivors Academy is set to host their Winter Wellbeing for Songwriters and Composers, a free online forum aimed at supporting mental health and wellbeing in the music industry.
Taking place on 11th February, the event provides an opportunity for songwriters and composers, including those from NI, to connect, reflect and equip themselves with tools to navigate their careers.
The session will feature guest panellists sharing their experiences and advice on managing the challenges of working in music. Topics will include strategies for maintaining mental health, wellbeing and financial stability while staying motivated and resilient in a fast-changing professional landscape.
The Ivors Academy is the UK’s membership organisation for songwriters and composers, advocating for their rights and value while providing essential support. Members gain access to networking opportunities, career development resources, insurance cover, funding advice, legal guidance and industry webinars. The organisation also leads campaigns to ensure fair representation and support within the music industry.
Guest panellists for the Winter Wellbeing session will be announced soon. Registration is free and open to all songwriters and composers looking to prioritise their wellbeing and career sustainability.
