Join this essential discussion for artists, managers and industry colleagues, as experts from the MMF, FAC, CMU Insights and special guests dissect and explain the new report on the economics of streaming from Parliament’s Digital, Culture, Media Sport Select Committee, which was published on 15 Jul.
We will run through the journey to this moment, unpack the recommendations from the committee, identify the key issues and solutions, and explain what is likely to happen next. Ultimately we will ask: What impact could these proposals have on each artist and songwriter’s business?
This session will run through both the basics and the very latest proposals, so attendance is advised for individuals with little to no knowledge on this subject matter, through to those well-versed.
