9:00am, Friday 27th Sep 2024

Belfast will soon host a specialist clinic by BAPAM (British Association for Performing Arts Medicine), offering vital support for Northern Irish musicians and performers. This clinic is an excellent opportunity for local talent to access expert care tailored to the unique demands of their craft.

With 40 years of expertise in treating artists, BAPAM understands the physical and psychological challenges faced by those in the performing arts. Offering free, face-to-face consultations across the UK, they provide comprehensive assessments, including the ability to demonstrate performances in person, and hands-on expert care.

BAPAM is now booking for Belfast, alongside clinics in Cardiff, Leeds, Glasgow, and Newcastle/Gateshead. Online appointments are also available for those who need flexibility, with virtual consultations providing effective diagnostic assessments and treatment advice.

If you’re a Northern Irish musician with a health issue affecting your ability to perform or study, don’t miss this chance. Northern Irish artists can benefit directly from in-person support as BAPAM clinicians visit Belfast on Friday, 27th September. Physiotherapist Kathy Harris and GP Dr Christine Hunter will be on hand to provide expert care.
