If you’re part of the music community in NI and wear the fundraising hat, whether full-time or out of necessity, this peer-led meet-up from Arts & Business NI is worth carving out a morning for.
Taking place on Thursday 26 June from 10am to 12noon at the Black Box in Belfast, Fundraising Connections is a laid-back but valuable chance to share experiences, ideas and strategies with others navigating the realities of fundraising across the arts and cultural sector. This session focuses on fundraising through Trusts & Foundations, with insight from two fellow arts practitioners who’ve been in the thick of it.
It’s not a formal workshop. Think of it more like a cross-sector catch-up with substance: open discussion, upcoming funding tips, reflections on wins (and losses) and plenty of chat over coffee. For music orgs juggling creativity with sustainability, it’s a welcome opportunity to learn from others doing the same.
Entry is free for Arts & Business NI members, or just £3+VAT for non-members; a tiny spend for some solid insight and a couple of sweet treats.
