AIF, AIP & MVT present new Grassroots Networking Day

The Association of Independent Festivals (AIF), the Association of Independent Promoters (AIP) and the Music Venue Trust (MVT) are presenting a new Grassroots Networking Day, open to festival programmers, promoters and grassroots music venue bookers in NI. Although the event takes place in London, thanks to support from Belfast City Council, travel bursaries are available to help NI professionals attend. Tickets are £30, with invitations to book based on responses to an Expression of Interest form.
On Tuesday, 14th October, independent festival bookers, grassroots music venue programmers, promoters and booking agents will gather at 229 London for a day dedicated to building new relationships and developing stronger networks across the UK. Backed by Arts Council England, the event is designed to strengthen the live ecosystem at grassroots level, with structured networking and the opportunity to form new regional or genre-based cohorts.
This is the first time that AIF, AIP and MVT have come together to host a dedicated event of this kind. Collectively, they represent the largest employers in the grassroots music sector, commissioning the highest number of shows by grassroots artists and investing over £500 million per year into live music.
