A&B NI’s Cultural Governance Conference 2025
9:30am – 1:00pm, Thursday 23rd Oct 2025

Arts & Business NI have announced the details of their annual Cultural Governance Conference, taking place on Thursday, 23rd October at The Duncairn in Belfast. Supported by Harbinson Mulholland Chartered Accountants, the conference will explore fresh ways of thinking about governance – and how leadership in the boardroom and beyond can become more inclusive, dynamic and community-led.
With contributions from Saad Eddine Said of New Art Exchange) and Storyhouse’s Annabel Turpin, alongside Fiona Bell, Olwen Dawe and others, the morning will spotlight new models of cultural governance that redistribute power, broaden access and enrich programming. Expect inspiring insights from both established leaders and emerging organisations challenging the status quo.
Open to the entire cultural community – including those working in theatre, dance, visual arts, literature and, importantly, the music sector – the event offers a vital space to reflect on how our arts organisations can be shaped with and by the communities they serve.
Tickets are £30+VAT for A&B NI members and £40+VAT for non-members.
