Tour Alaska
Tour Alaska are a Belfast-based band fronted by ex-A Plastic Rose songwriter and lead singer Gerry Norman. A Plastic Rose achieved two NI Music Prize albums, a coveted Radio One Maida Vale session and support shows with Snow Patrol and Biffy Clyro, as well as festival slots including Reading & Leads and British Summer Time at Hyde Park. Norman has swapped distorted electric guitar and resounding vocals for acoustic guitars, piano and a chance to flex more intimate songwriting. Drawing on influences such as Bright Eyes and Phoebe Bridgers, Tour Alaska have just finished their second studio album which will be released in November 2021 with debut single Apple Disguise set for release in July.
