The deadline for the Ulster-Scots Agency Music Tuition Grants has been extended to 26 July 2021 at 5pm. Grants are available for tuition projects commencing from 1 September 2021 and ending by 30 April 2022.

Over the years, the Ulster-Scots Agency Music Tuition grant has encouraged the development of many young musicians and it is hoped groups and bands will continue to avail of the opportunity to develop the Ulster-Scots musical tradition and seek to rebuild following the Covid-19 pandemic.

The funding is at a rate of 75% of eligible costs and provides financial support to voluntary groups – including bands – to deliver a 20-week tuition programme and support tutor costs and venue hire.

Applications must be submitted using the Agency’s online portal here. Upon registration, groups will receive an application form, supporting documents and a copy of the guidelines.

An instructional video on how to complete the application process has also been created by the Ulster-Scots Community Network and is available to view here.

Deadline for applications: 26 July 2021 at 5pm

Please note: Applications must be for projects delivered between 1 September 2021 and 20 April 2022.

The Ulster-Scots Agency is pleased to be able to provide financial support to a range of events and projects, developed by community groups and voluntary organisations, throughout the year. With this support, the aim is to promote the culture, heritage, and language of Ulster-Scots.
