AVA Festival returns to Belfast on 30th-31st May 2025, taking over the iconic Titanic Slipways for its 11th edition. As one of Ireland’s leading electronic music and arts festivals, this year’s event will feature performances from Underworld, Overmono, Ewan McVicar, KI/KI, VTSS and other international and local talent.

Irish artists are strongly represented, with performances from Tommy Holohan, Sally C, Kessler, EMA, Sloucho, and Spray, among others. This focus on supporting homegrown talent underscores AVA’s commitment to showcasing Ireland’s thriving electronic music scene on a global stage.

“AVA 2025 will be a step change for the Festival and AVA. Creativity and community have never been more important. Spaces for people to freely dance, connect and express themselves without judgement are crucial, and we plan to bring the best environment for artists and audiences alike,” says Sarah McBriar, Founder & Creative Director of AVA.

“This year we are excited to bring iconic duo Underworld to AVA on the 30th Anniversary of Born Slippy and surround them with so much exciting and upcoming talent, featuring 10 artists making their Belfast debuts. Supporting Irish talent has always been a key focus for us, so having artists like Tommy Holohan, Sally C, Spray, EMA, Sloucho, and Kessler involved in the lineup is something we are proud of,” adds Emmett Costello, AVA Senior Curator.

Alongside its music programme, AVA 2025 will feature a new arts-focused offering, including storytelling, music tours, installations, and workshops. Further details on this aspect of the festival will be announced in the coming months.
