The Cultural Bridge programme is designed to support arts and cultural organisations across the UK and Germany in developing partnerships that explore social arts practice. This initiative aims to foster new and existing connections, building a network of organisations committed to sharing skills and expertise, exchanging ideas, and collaborating on artistic projects that address themes and challenges faced by communities in both countries.

Funding guidance is now available, and organisations are encouraged to start developing their collaboration and project proposals ahead of the application deadline. It is essential to review the full guidance and ensure your organisation’s eligibility before applying.

The application portal for the 2025-2026 programme is now open, with the deadline for submissions on Tuesday, 26th November 2024. Applicants must register on the portal and complete their application by this date. As part of the process, partnerships should nominate a lead organisation to act as the main point of contact for all communications.

Partners are expected to work collaboratively on the application, and additional information relating to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) will be requested from both partners to help monitor the types of applications received and grants awarded.

This is a significant opportunity for Northern Irish arts and cultural organisations to engage in cross-border collaboration and contribute to meaningful cultural exchange and social arts practice.
