Minding Creative Minds has announced their first online Meet & Greet session of 2025, taking place on Monday, 27th January at 7PM. Aimed at professionals across the creative industries, including those in NI, this free event offers a valuable opportunity to connect with peers, learn from other creative backgrounds and access essential information about the organisation’s services. While the session is free to attend, registration is required in advance.
Hosted by Minding Creative Minds Director Ann Marie Shields, the session provides a welcoming and informal space for discussion and connection. Speaking about the sessions, Minding Creative Minds said: “Those attending Minding Creative Minds monthly meet and greet set the agenda. It is with intent, we hold this gathering as an informal event; each Minding Creative Minds monthly meeting follows its own path, while offering a space to source core information about Minding Creative Minds and our services. A space where we can learn about and from our peers whose creative backgrounds may differ to our own; yet we all working in the creative sector brings us together.”
The Meet & Greet sessions are designed to foster a sense of community within the creative sector. They also provide a platform for attendees to explore Minding Creative Minds’ broad range of free and confidential services. These include counselling, trauma and abuse counselling, creative arts therapies, and industry-specific advice on legal, financial and career matters. The organisation also offers mentoring programmes, career clinics and skill-focused workshops to support individuals in their professional journeys.
This initiative is particularly relevant for NI artists seeking support and community within the creative industries. Whether you’re looking to connect with like-minded individuals or to access practical resources and advice, Minding Creative Minds provides a safe and welcoming space for collaboration and growth.
