Northern Irish music educators, don’t miss the opportunity to discover creative ways to enhance your music teaching in the classroom. The Independent Society of Musicians (ISM) is hosting a free online session on 6 November from 4-5pm to introduce teachers to the BBC Ten Pieces resource as it celebrates its ten-year anniversary.
This free webinar will focus on how teachers can use the BBC Ten Pieces resource to engage students with music and media in new and exciting ways. You’ll learn more about the latest collection, which features works by ten female composers, and how the BBC Singers play a role in the resource.
The BBC Ten Pieces initiative aims to inspire creativity in young people through classical music. In this session, ISM will explore how teachers can effectively incorporate the resource into their classroom activities and music education. This is a great opportunity for Northern Irish music educators to tap into a valuable teaching tool that has been celebrated for the past decade.
The ISM, a professional body representing over 11,000 musicians across the UK and Ireland, supports musicians from all areas of the industry, including education. As a subject association for music education, ISM is dedicated to helping educators enhance their teaching approaches through initiatives like this.
