Music Connections is the online home for Northern Ireland’s music sector: one place to find the funding, support and people that help music get made here.
Whether you’re putting out your first single or running a venue that’s been at it for decades, Music Connections is here to save you time. We gather what’s out there, keep it current and point you straight to it, so you can spend less time searching and more time making music.
On the site you’ll find:
- Live Funding: every open fund and bursary for NI artists, counting down to its deadline
- Who Funds Music: the funders worth knowing, and what each one supports
- Guides on the business side of music, from copyright to accessibility
- Health support for musicians’ physical and mental wellbeing
- The Directory of record shops, rehearsal spaces, promoters, PR and management, equipment hire and more
- Events and News from right across the scene
- UNESCO City of Music: what Belfast’s designation means, and what it’s delivering
It’s open to every genre and every level, from first gigs to international careers, and to everyone working around the music too, including venues, promoters, educators, studios and charities.
Music Connections is supported by Belfast City Council as part of its Music Matters strategy and Belfast’s UNESCO City of Music work.
Stay in the loop. Sign up to our free, monthly Music Connections newsletter for the latest funding, opportunities and news, straight to your inbox. No ads, ever.
